Hi, my name is Claire, and I'm glad you're here. As a mother, taking time for your mental health isn't just another item on your endless to-do list - it's an act of courage, and I respect and honor that.
The transition to motherhood can feel like being dropped into uncharted waters. Whether you're struggling with birth trauma, postpartum anxiety, or navigating complex family dynamics (yes, including those tricky in-law relationships), I'm here to walk beside you. As both an EMDR trained trauma therapist, a certified perinatal mental health counselor, and a certified narcissistic abuse counselor, I create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and validated in all of your experiences - from the heart-bursting joy to the 3 AM doubts, to the tension at family gatherings.
I firmly believe that beneath the sleep deprivation, second-guessing, and family pressures, you already hold the deep wisdom needed to be the mother you want to be. My clients who complete therapy with me discover their own rhythm of motherhood and learn to set healthy boundaries with family. They feel more present with their children, more confident in their parenting choices, and more connected to themselves. They learn to trust their maternal instincts and parent in a way that feels authentic to who they are - whether that matches family expectations or not.

Trauma can have a lasting impact on your mental health, but with my support, you can learn to manage and overcome the effects of past experiences. EMDR is a well-established, research-backed therapy that helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer carry the same emotional charge. Somatic therapy helps your body let go of what your mind has already tried to make sense of.

Do you find yourself second-guessing your own memories, walking on eggshells, or feeling like you've lost touch with who you are? Recovering from narcissistic abuse takes time, and you don't have to do it alone. Together, we'll untangle the patterns that kept you stuck, rebuild your trust in your own perceptions, and help you reconnect with a sense of self that feels solid and yours.

As a mom, I understand the challenges of motherhood and the toll it can take on mental health. That’s why I offer a therapy service specifically for mothers who are struggling with postpartum depression or other mental health issues. Finding support during this time is vital, and by working together, we can bring joy and ease back into your life.
Here's How It Works
First, schedule your free 15 minute consultation with me to make sure we are a good fit, and that I can meet your needs. I will answer any questions you might have during this time as well. We will meet for weekly or bi-weekly appointments that last 60 minutes. In these sessions I help you increase your confidence, put down your emotional baggage and meet your therapy goals.
